Sorry to those who tuned in last night, expecting to see two sets. Spent quite a bit of time yesterday afternoon setting up the first broadcast for the new season (was excited to co-cast with RonaldRage) ... but my PC crashed halfway through. Was able to cover the first set

Hosting a recurring eSports tournament is a bit like being on a ship, tossed in the tempests of a stormy sea. It has ups and downs, but by far the scariest part is just after a new season's first weekend. Waiting for the game recordings to trickle in is a lesser form of anxiety a

Hey @ScottAdamsSays, you don't know me, but I have something to say. I lost my dad in June 2013 to prostate cancer. He was an engineer and inspired me to become one too. We loved Dilbert, and we loved you! Thank you for everything, and know that my legendary father will be eager

For those of you wondering how random player locations are achieved on maps cluttered with neutral lands or requiring symmetry, the third column is a simplification of the hybrid-random direct placement technique and illustrates the concept: #aoe2

Watched the entirety of this video about the new civs, and didn't see anything to suggest it was scripted by an AI: https://t.co/8RfJ8okV8X It's sad that AI script-writing has become so prevalent that there is a presumption of laziness in content creation. I enjoyed the video;
Just wanna state that I NEVER HAVE and I NEVER WILL use chat-gpt or anything of the like for my video scripts. I am SO PASSIONATELY ANTI AI especially when it comes to anything creative. I will use my own brain, my own hands, and my own ideas to make my content. Holy shit.

Oof! What am embarrassment! So much for an "England-themed" map pool. Aren't people buying plane tickets over this? There's always next time, and the Alchemy AOE Community -- with a proven history of multiple successful thematic map pools -- stands ready to assist.
Red Bull Wololo: Londinium's map pool in the #AoEII ladder qualifier has been updated to address issues encountered on some maps. Stonefront, Dorothea Quarry, and Hengehold will be replaced by Acclivity, Dunesprings, and Karsts.

If your time is limited in 2026, I volunteer my services to the benefit of the awards. Got a number of ideas that would make the process more transparent and inclusive of the entire aoe2 community. The awards should be merit-based, but in their current configuration are heavily
Thanks all! Hope you enjoyed the awards. Hope everyone has a fruitful 2026. I personally am spending much less time on AoE II than I was before (it was not healthy for me), and I will be picking my projects carefully for this year. I'd just like to say I have a lot of

May not sound fancy but I use Microsoft Copilot to create most Alchemy AOE Community artwork. Here's a nice example: Themed images such as these appear in the opening slideshow of broadcasts featuring Alchemy League games.
