#AAPIHeritageMonth coming to a close. Here's a memory of simpler times: celebrating #Tet back in the day at #AragonBallroom in #Chicago. Food, music, games, fancy attire, & the original Nguyen crew. #LunarNewYear #Vietnamese #NY #80s #90s #AAPI

Had a awesometime in Nguyens class. I learned that the 1920s culture had a lot of aura, Especially the gansgsters. Music like jazz was considered by some that it was the devils music. Sports was prolly the biggest source of entertainment. #NguyenALC @teachwritenow

#NguyenALC What I Learned is how in the prohibition era you had people who wanted to drink created places called speakeasy’s and Saloons so that they can drink illegally and how prohibition didn’t really end it but only made people want to drink more.

@teachwritenow #NguyenALC I learned that many people during this time had many rebellious acts. But, people also got very creative ideas with music and art through these things. This time period was when many different types of fashion was created and many still wear now! - Lisa
