And the sad thing is there will probably be no consequences for it. The shows will still sell out, viewership will be fine. They clearly don’t give a shit about PR backlash, so nothing that would actually hurt will happen and they’ll just go on with the show. Sad world.

I also saw a prominent NC indie guy (who I will not name) go into business for himself during a title match because he didn’t want to drop the belt. That caused a fight in the locker room afterwards, as you would expect.

I ring announced for multiple indie shows in NC in 2019. Jordan Oliver and YDNB were on one, and two 15-year-old kids named Jay Malachi and Jackson Drake were on another. Wonder where they are now….
