We are rallying behind you @SamMMaimbo !
Today marks my final day of campaigning, and I'm honored to conclude this journey in Cape Verde. 🇨🇻 I chose to end here for three important reasons: every single country in Africa matters equally regardless of size, every language matters because development is for all of us,

Great animation of who started it and how we all will continue to suffer the consequences. But hopefully it can inspire us to act locally, quicky towards the desired global outcome. Imagine if ours or yours would be the last “forest” standing!
This NASA visualization shows the CO2 emitted into the earth's atmosphere + clarifies who is responsible for the climate crisis: we, the Global North. There is not time to wait. #ActOnClimate

Great to see UN RC’s taking a deliberate step towards better understanding of the carbon market. On the technical side, there are a lot of positives to build on from what the voluntary market has developed over the years. @RoseMwebaza @AMukwashi
Successfully completed a convening of all UN Resident Coordinators from 54 African countries to discuss: Why do carbon markets matter? ●How do they operate? ●Types of carbon credits ●Issuance and price trends ●How can African governments strategically engage

I rely on her technical advise for my veggie gardens, my seasonal maize-sunflower-soya bean farming and even for my chickens, goats and sheep. And my one dog🫶🏾! I have witnessed her passion for the farmers more than the passion for profit. This is definitely her life’s calling.

For years, I have personally watched & listened to her in her small shop, teaching farmers on best practices to achieve better yields. In times of rainfall variations, she taps into the messages of climate change & points farmers to most appropriate planting varieties.
