Small win today, I feel like sharing this one. As we head toward @tapedrive_io v2, we’re restructuring how voting works on our tape network. With v2, we use Solana as the control plane for decisions like pricing, storage costs, capacity, and object availability.

The SEC continues to address crypto regulatory uncertainty. In the first crypto no-action relief letter in ~5 years, the SEC clarifies that programmatic blockchain incentives for network participation aren't securities offerings. More progress!

How do we unlock this? Tapedrive is native to Solana. Data lives on the ledger where apps already are. For devs: retrieve data without account-cost barriers or off-chain friction. For users: the info you care about will still be there tomorrow.

Yesterday: NFTs & launchpads relied on off-chain storage. Tomorrow: Tapedrive enables storage-driven assets, data markets, generalized compute, and account recovery (SIMD-0341). We see it as a core part of the Solana dev stack.
