Here’s a very scuffed exploration of Zhongli’s Morax outfit I did like 2 years ago that better illustrates what I mean lol. The markings don’t stand out as much against his skin normally since there’s not much contrast, the black undershirt helps with visual clarity
I think the idea of the black arms is cool in theory but personally the more I look at his outfit the less sense it makes to me lol. I think his arms are covered in glowing yellow geo markings, and the black is a sheer body suit that provides contrast to make them stand out more

The only genshin comic that’s canon is the official Manhua that’s provided in all languages on the genshin website. Everything besides that is fan work. Also a little rule of thumb to go by here: if the source it’s from is only in JP, not in EN or even CN, it’s probably not canon
