Finally meeting some of my colleagues in person at one of the @XWP HQs in Porto. Preparations for #WCEU are going well. And luckily there are enough Pastéis De Nata to keep us going. 🤤 #XWP #XWPeople 💙🚀💜 pic by @talimyles

Outsourcing is a bad idea. (shocker) Low performers are almost 4x as likely to use functional outsourcing. Read about it and some of the consequences (search for “Misguided performers”) in the 2018 Accelerate State of DevOps Report #ASODR

I bet if you really look at it the cause won't be technical but management and leadership. #dontsackthetechie #sydneytrains #5whys

Service disruptions and delays across the network are ongoing due to technical issues. Make alternative travel arrangements & avoid non-essential travel where possible as large gaps in service may occur. Allow plenty of extra travel time & listen to announcements for updates.

R.I.P. Over the next 10-15 years we’ll see a lot more companies end up on the corporate graveyard like Kodak & Nokia. Only few companies I know are good at the full innovation spectrum of experimentation, learning, scaling, corporate venturing, and strategic acquisitions.

Yoshida found that, even though 100% of front-line problems were known to the front-line employees, only 74% were known to team leaders, 9% to middle management and just 4% to top management!
