“Corridor care is causing harm for patients on a daily basis…patients have better outcomes when they come through acute medical units – lower mortality, shorter stays and better patient experience – so we must fix this situation” - @VickyKomrower

Brilliant work from @gordonmck and his team at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley What is your acute medical unit doing to celebrate @acutemedicine week? #CAMW25 #flourishonthefrontline
For #CAMW we launched a new wellbeing initiative called Fika Thursday. Its based on a Swedish concept of coffee and cake helping people connect, and a short pause at 11am let us go back to the ward round feeling energised.

How are you promoting wellbeing in your acute medical units? It doesn’t have to be anything big or fancy. Sometimes wellbeing is just getting a coffee for a colleague Some recent endeavours from @nicole_haggarty
