Yes. my BBC segment with @MattChorley kicked off with a moose call. Why? Because if you're going to talk Canadian democracy, might as well go full north. 🇨🇦🦌 Full video is online, but here's a snippet of our chat #DemocracyWithAntlers

Proud to share that our podcast ‘Whats Up With The Internet’ has been nominated for Outstanding Technology Series. This season we focused on the secretive world of cybersecurity that features the hackers, spies and heroes working in the industry. @CanPodAwards

Get ready for a different type of show today on @CBC. To celebrate #Halloween I’ll be diving into real spine-chilling technology that’s spookier than any ghost story. I’ll dish on the food stores adopting digital surge pricing, A.I. that can predict your death and more.

This season (with help from some friends) I investigate the ways foreign governments, mercenaries for hire and our outdated laws are wreaking havoc on our country. Annnnd. contrary to popular belief, what you don't know *can* actually hurt you. #CyberSecurityMonth

Some call it automated pricing, surge pricing or dynamic pricing, but it's all pretty much the same. Now companies everywhere are using AI to switch up the cost for everything from clothes to rent in real time.

Most think algorithmic price-fixing is new, but it really started in the '90s with a soda company that would use temperature-sensitive vending machines to determine how much a drink should cost based on how hot it was outside. My latest national column:
