Indeed, Hilma is alive and everything we could wish for. We are all so relieved and happy to be a family of five❤️

Two years ago I had to leave the maternity ward empty handed after giving birth to my silent daughter Cora. Two weeks ago I gave birth to baby sister Hilma. «She’s alive, she’s alive» their brother Alvar shouted and sang as he danced down the hospital hallway visiting.

I had to drop out of #ICA23 due to being in the last few weeks of pregnancy, but do make sure to attend the panel that I organised with @riankasingh on Mediated Silence and Feminist Refusals, Sat 27 at 9am!

This week I’ve been to different events and seminars everyday, and despite very different contexts and audiences, for some reason Herbert Marcuse has been cited in all of them🤔
