Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos now says they will keep Warner Bros’ theatrical model largely the same once they buy the studio. “When this deal closes, we are in [the theatrical] business, and we’re going to do it… We didn’t buy this company to destroy that value”

Glen Powell doesn't think he's Tom Cruise. People have forced that comparison because of Top Gun: Maverick. He's more of a Matthew McConaughey and even then he's still taking more chances and having more say in his career and writing and producing like Ben Affleck and Matt Damon

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos says BARBIE and OPPENHEIMER would have been just as big on Netflix. “There’s no reason to believe that the movie itself is better in any size of screen for all people. My son’s an editor, he watched ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ on his phone.” via @nytimes

Thinking of all those arguments about the Asian mother “betraying” the holdouts by letting the vampires in and how they could’ve “made a plan” and “waited it out” and other horror movie nitpicking. Their inevitable doom was baked into the story, narratively & thematically.

Realistically, everyone with friends and family lost from that night most likely think the KKK killed and burned them all (assuming burns and clothes remained). The horror of Sinners is that the community was being preyed on no matter what. That's the terror of their lives.
