It’s sugar beet harvest out here in southern Alberta. But what kind of sugar beet is this? Looks like a combination of white and the traditional red beet used for borscht.

Irrigation results in “more attractive risk-adjusted returns”. In other words - less volatility in farming profits means less chance of breaching bank covenants.

@ccga_ca @farmcashadvance @realagriculture news release says increase is for canola advances - I would assume it applies to all commodities as this program is for all farm products?
