last week i finally found the courage to try to xcompile pytorch for armv7 (bela) and i have one piece of valuable information to share: don't xcompile with a toolchain in cmake, it's not worth the pain, just use docker buildx build--platform=linux/arm/v7

the round-trip (full-trip?) latency (Bela2python2Bela) is 116 ms (sending buffers of length 1024 at 22050 Hz, latency is 2.5 buffers) -- which is decent enough to play with!
