Great trip yesterday taking Y10 students to @ConnellCollege for the East Manchester Medical Careers day. A brilliant chance for the students to have hands-on experience in workshops and ask questions to the medical students. As always our students doing @coopbellevue proud π

In Science, our longest response question is a 6 mark question. When we mark these, we use a mark scheme that provides guidance for acceptable responses that can fit into one of up to three levels.β¦

1. Following year 10 mocks I've been reflecting a lot on how to support students 1. Write more for the 6 mark questions 2. Increase their scores without teaching explicit answers to specific questions, because we all know they can be on everything and anything in science
