We’re in the same situation as in 2017 when I was proposing major cuts to get rid of Trudeau’s deficit. If the government can suddenly increase spending and create a giant deficit, IT CAN SIMILARLY CUT SPENDING AND GET RID OF THE DEFICIT. What is needed is the political will.
Why should it be impossible to to cut federal spending by between $20 and $40B when Lib gov went from 0 to $30B deficit in a single year?
