Sam Allen, our Construction Director, has been with us for 20 years today! Sam began his career in 2001 as Site Manager then progressed to Construction Manager in 2008. After lots of hard work & dedication he was promoted to Construction Director in 2012. Happy anniversary Sam!

What a beautiful day it was yesterday to begin our new project for Solidus Solutions. We are over-roofing the 140 x 60m triple span roof on their manufacturing plant in Corby. We’re also installing new guttering & fully replacing the unusual rooflights with a new design solution.

Training is hugely important to us, not only to upskill our staff but as an pivotal part of our H&S programme. Over the last few months our team have completed site supervision, site safety, working at height, manual handling, abrasive wheels & overhead cranes to name but a few!

Work is progressing well at our stable block conversion and restoration in Great Ouseburn, nr Boroughbridge. The original roof trusses have been restored and are now in place, the trays for the solar panels have been installed and the roof felted ready for the tiling to begin.

The steelwork for the new changing rooms and offices is being installed in an existing building for a long standing client of ours at Leeming Bar. The steelwork has been detailed and fabricated in-house, ensuring we keep on schedule.

Another project completed at the warehousing and distribution complex for our client, a large fashion and home retailer. High end security systems were installed including an automated turnstile for clocking in and out, electric car charging points and bike stands.

Steelwork being fabricated in our in-house workshop for the new @CandelisaLLP development in Skipton, Cavendish House. The steel framework will allow a dormer level with balcony’s to be added to the existing building as part of the extensive renovations.

We’ve recently completed this new staff toilet and washroom area for XPO Logistics near Barnsley. Working in conjunction with Watsons Building Services, the area was planned to ensure a Covid-safe environment for warehousing staff at fashion company ASOS.

After re-developing this 10-acre site for @GreenTechUK in 2015, we’ve recently completed further development at @rabbithillpark including additional commercial buildings, another entrance to the park, a new wood and glass walkway and offices suspended between two buildings.
