That males are to be allowed into women’s spaces, including prisons, if they said they identified as women.
That children on school trips were to sleep in rooms with the opposite sex if they identified as that, and the other pupils or their parents weren’t to be told.

That any student objecting to sharing a changing room with a member of the opposite sex was to be told to go elsewhere because they were the problem.
I saw people like Jeffrey Marsh being treated like experts on child protection, being listened to.

I saw people like Dylan Mulvaney being taken seriously when they parodied women. While any woman who complained was abused and called a bigot.
I saw inappropriate sexualised behaviour in front of children being encouraged and any objectors being called bigots or paedophiles

I could go on and on about all this. But you get the idea.
Here’s the thing. I don’t hate trans people at all. I think they should live how they want to live. Most people used to think the same.

But now a cohort of extremely aggressive, unpleasant individuals are behaving entirely unreasonably and insisting that nobody else’s feelings matter.
And that’s not right. And I believe it is making life much more difficult for people to live together in peace.
