A child that goes quiet isn’t disrespecting you. They’re defending their spirit!!.As a coach/teacher/parent/mentor I’ve learned this about kids. Kids don’t shut down for no apparent reason It’s not always about the game or your lesson plan. Sometimes it’s the love they don’t feel.
