Our Midwest team took part in the @SalvationArmyUS Angel Tree program, providing gifts for 40 local kids. and volunteered at the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, sorting food and packaging bags for food assistance programs.

Our Panhandle division organized a toy drive benefiting the Santa Rosa Kids' House, a child advocacy center that provides a coordinated, multi-disciplinary response to help children who've been abused.

During the Christmas season, Superior team members across our regions stepped up to support local families in need.

What sets Sidonia apart is her commitment to advancing women in heavy civil construction. By excelling in spaces where women remain underrepresented, she creates visibility and opens doors for those who follow.

Sidonia Nichols, Project HSE Supervisor I, has been named Superior Women in Construction's (SWiC) Trailblazer of the Month. Sidonia started with Superior as an HSE intern and has since taken on project engineering responsibilities while maintaining her safety duties.

She helped create the first-ever Indiana Constructors Inc. Women IN Roads All-Girls Summer Camp this year and is a leader with Superior's Women in Construction program.

Amy's career in construction began at 21 when she took an entry-level administrative role as a young mother seeking stability. That opportunity became a career defined by resilience and a commitment to opening doors for the next generation.

The project replaces a nearly 60-year-old drawbridge & represents a recovery milestone for the community. The new structure rises 60 ft above the water, eliminating the need for draw operations & providing uninterrupted access between Fort Myers Beach & Lovers Key State Park.

The new Big Carlos Pass Bridge in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, is open to traffic. Drivers made their first trip over the new 60-foot fixed-span structure after more than two years of construction.
