Had to cancel my Adobe Creative Cloud after 6 or so years paying for the subscription. This time the price hike is getting way to expensive. 😭 Now learning to use Affinity as my alternative option. Thankfully its free. 😁

Got myself a new keyboard. It's the Redragon BK-7114 Scissor Mechanism Slim. The keys are quiet and bouncy. Perfect for my late night 3D modelling. It's got all the keys I need, especially the numpad which I use a lot for switching my camera views in Blender.

I got myself a CMF Phone 2 Pro by @nothing, and it looks amazing. As a designer, I'm a big fan of good-looking gadgets, and this one hits the marks. I love it coz it looks different, it's simple yet sophisticated, if you know what I mean. 😂 Even my cutie character loves it.

From a Post-it sketch idea to a 3D render with Google AI Nano Banana. It's not perfect, but it's insane that this would take me days, maybe weeks to model in Blender. Have mixed feelings with AI. Sad, since I spent years mastering 3D, but also excited by its potential.

Picked up my pen and did some random sketches. Don't ask me what it is coz I have no idea. Maybe robots, spaceship, wacky creatures. Though the first one reminds me of the Catbus from My Neighbour Totoro. 😅

Experimenting to see if I can turn my food character designs into plush toys. It's pretty crazy to see how close Nano Banana was able to interpretate this.

Used Nano Banana to create a plush toy based on my food character design. The results were impressive, but the finer details weren't quite right, even after a billion tries 😅. I guess its a good thing coz I can still use my skills in Photoshop to manually match it to my design.

Picked up my Wacom tablet to refine my rough hand sketches. This one is a hotdog character. To speed my work flow and to keep the design consistent, I had pre-drawn out a few faces, arms and legs forming my characters. So it was just a matter of dropping those pieces into place.

Sketching ideas, thinking of food or objects characters with an adaptable universal style plus some design layouts and elements.
