Philippines in blue? Orange imo. All houses I’ve lived in were either shoes off or change to indoor slip-ons. Some houses ask guests to leave their shoes on just out of courtesy. In rural areas where the houses’ main floor is clay, of course it’s flip-flops on.

Because we have mostly winter, it’s rude & stupid to drag around a house your wet, snowy boots. I have fuzzy slippers to change to. The habit of taking off shoes is carried over into the summer.
Ok, this map bugs me. I have *never* been in a Canadian home where you kept the shoes on. To do so would be actively considered rude

Ilocano households somehow differ. The ampalaya tops for breakfast gave me trauma. As a kid, that’s how frequent we had veggies. Dinengdeng can’t be dinengdeng w/o veggies. And meat was and still is a luxury. Salty? That I agree on coz ginisang bagoong isda was my shit.
Pinoy Food is not balanced. Its greasy/oily with less vegetable. Tama nga karamihan sa yt people na too salty kaya siguro sobrang lakas natin sa rice.

As real as it gets in the realm of TOTGAs. This short series (6 hour-long eps) is by far the most tastefully done of them all this year. No convoluted back stories, just sincere storytelling. Even the change in colour grading speaks. I’m no expert but the cinematography was a gem.
