I can confidently say that I’ve moved to my Beetleborg phase of life.

My next batches of mead. The large ones are raspberry and blueberry. The small ones are both cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and cloves. Cat for scale.

Without spoilers, the ending was satisfying and at no point in the movie did I get bored. At one moment I was even surprised that the movie was almost done. It’s worth your watch and your time.

At first the visuals are odd, but it reminded me of a fairy tale story book. The red caps are well done and I was surprised/pleased to see they got so much screen time. The actors did a superb job and you rooted for the main charter and hated the villains appropriately.

Unwelcome. 5/5. (Shudder) The story of a family moving to a new home to start a new life. They find that their home is connected to a forest inhabited by Red Caps.

With less than 12 hours left in the year, we've finished the first major revision/iteration of The Dead & the Damned. Very excited for what 2024 is going to bring!

Jul Day 12: With that another Jul end and Wotan finishes his task of returning light to the world. He, Sleipnir, and I wish you a happy new year and hope you find all the light you need in the coming year.

Jul Day 11: A sampling from this year's Jul mead. This is from Windchaser Meadery, but shoutout to the other mead I've had this year from Aegir's Den, Silverhand, and @Groennfell.

Jul Day 10: The skills of artists always blows me away. Sculpture is "Undine" by Chauncey Bradley Ives (1884).

Jul Day 9: Spent some time checking out the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and their restoration projects. Can you spot the stealth fighter they are working on?

Jul day 8: The Natural History Museum was dino might!

Jul Day 7: Logged a trip to the Lincoln monument. It was only common cents to stop by. Be sure to give a penny for your thoughts.

Jul Day 6: Got to see a hilarious rendition of "Rudolfo the Red Nose Capulet" by the Improve Shakespeare Company. The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts was also very nice.

Jul Day 5: St. Olafs will provide Jul security if needed. @LondonJFK1 needed the extra muscle to keep their dedicated and dangerous fans at bay.

Jul Day 4: made some Joulutorttu treats. They were Finnished in no time.

Jul Day 3: It's feast time!

Jul Day 1: It's a start to another Jul and good children who left straw in their boots are getting a good lump of coal to keep them warm through the winter.

Jul Day 2: It's already the solstice! Wotan and Sleipnir travel across the sky to restore light to the world.
