I was lucky to use the I19: Small Molecule Single Crystal Diffraction beamline in the @DiamondLightSou through a rapid access proposal. I spent a few hours since yesterday afternoon till today early morning. Thanks to @DavidAllan704 and Dr Sarah Barnett for their kind help.

Publication Alert:.[IrCp*Cl(dppz)]Cl crystal structure was solved into an orthorhombic space group Aea2: R1 = 1.65%, wR2 = 4.47%, Rint = 3.15%. Happy to contribute to this excellent UK-Spain collaborative work .

We had a fantastic beamtime at #DANMAX at @MAXIVLaboratory . thanks to the beamline scientists for all their support. Data collection was super fast. This trip also allowed me to visit Sweden after 10 long years. it was very cold with bright sunshine. 😊

We are investigating hydration / dehydration mechanism of a pharmaceutical drug using in-situ powder x-ray diffraction at variable humidity & temperature conditions. The instrument will continuously measure the sample over the weekend, when we can relax. @UoLLifeSciences @bruker
