The thing that really gets to me, is they spent nearly 4 minutes drawing lines to disallow our goal at Spurs. Yet took seconds for the ref to look at his watch and say “computer says no” - just take a minute out of the game, let the players have a drink, and watch the video back
Sander Berge just gets better and better, absolutely oozes quality. Shrugs off players with ease, moves forward with the ball, finds a pass, unreal quality
Shout out to Ramsdale today - got to give praise when it’s due and it definitely is due today. Great double save, tipped another over the bar, great kicking - keep that up lad!
Preston have 41 players listed in their "first team" - how many players must they have with COVID!? And where is the proof? Clubs are just using this as an excuse.
United’s Championship fixture at Preston North End on Sunday 26th December has been postponed.
North End have informed the EFL that they would be unable to fulfil the fixture at Deepdale due to a number of positive Covid-19 cases in their squad.

Harry Maguire
@HarryMaguire93
is a true blades hero - he stayed with us in L1 for as long as he could when he was clearly a level above. Unlike other young players who play a handful of games and jump ship at the first sign of 💷💷💷
Absolutely love Chris Basham, never gives anything less than 100% and has written himself into blades history forever with many iconic moments.
I hope this is not the end for his playing days for us, and I’m sending him positive thoughts.
I’ve tried to write a tweet about Wilders future over and over, but I can’t put it into words. But it’s simple - he MUST be manager next season simple as. No question
Anyone know who created this? I want to use it as my profile picture and see if we can fill the
#twitterblades
timeline with this as everyone’s profile picture
Please take Lundstram off the pitch now, and never play him again. Don’t even put him training with the kids. Just send him home and tell him to never come back
A terrible free kick from Lundstram, then 0 desire to get back and help his team mates, while Ampadu literally sprints back. Just pay his contract and up and get rid now
@SheffieldUnited
What has Brewster got to do to get on the pitch? I honestly don’t understand. If he’s going to play a big role for us next season he needs to be gaining experience now, not rotting on the bench
Personally I couldn’t care less if
@DRBrooks15
scored or not. The first sniff of the Premier League and he was off...
But when
@HarryMaguire93
scores my heart beats strong, a huge grin beams across my face, and I feel proud he was a true blade

Dear
@Saudi49er
, the club was on its knees, Chris Wilder brought the club back together, you have just undone all that work, this is the biggest mistake you will ever make in football. Time for you to go
#GetOutOfOurClub
#SackTheBoard
We just pass it around the back for the sake of it, then lump it forward to the strikers because the midfield only want to pass backwards. It’s so hard to watch - we have no identity anymore
That last minute goal for Coventry would have gone down in history. Created memories never to be forgotten told through generations. Instead VAR steps in and Man U get into yet another FA Cup final. Boring
Feel sorry for the amazing social media team at
@SheffieldUnited
- gone from being one of the best and most engaging social media accounts, to one that is just pushing the agenda of the owner
Other clubs have been so respectful when a manager has left. It makes me furious seeing how
@Saudi49er
and
@musaadkma
have pushed Wilder out the back door, after everything he has done for the club. They have no respect.

14 minutes added on, the majority of which was for VAR checks, not injuries or time wasting. Not one football fan asked for this. Football in the premier league is absolutely ruined
They chose to use VAR in the biggest game in the championship season because too much is at stake to make a mistake. All it has done is show that VAR doesn’t work.
Top marks to
@RhianBrewster9
for that assist. He would be desperate for a goal for himself, but saw the opportunity for a pass and put it on a plate for Khadra
It’s been an absolute pleasure watching
@SheffieldUnited
this season. Some fantastic results and memories, never in danger of going down and a glimmer of a European dream. Probably the perfect season
My only expectation for this season is we do ourselves proud, playing the Sheffield United way and to the best of our ability - if that’s good enough to stay up then fantastic
#twitterblades
That just sums up how lazy and uninterested Lundstram is. A lazy clearance, puts his arm in the air claiming nothing.
The sooner his contract runs out and we can get rid of him the better
McBurnie is taking some criticism - he is there to score goals and he isn’t. But he won so many headers and flick-ons yesterday. Yes I’d prefer him to head one into the net, but think his general play is good
The
@EFL
have made it too easy for clubs to get games called off. Put the responsibility on the clubs to have procedures in place to minimise the risk from COVID.
I am seriously worried now for this team, I’m looking to the bottom more than the top. Players lacking quality, a manager who is forcing a formation on them that doesn’t work, and a chairman with no money to invest. It’s a very bad situation
How petty and childish
@SheffieldUnited
are being not including Chris Wilder in any of the photos from promotion at Northampton - we will remember him as a legend
“I can’t believe this guy was on a free transfer in the summer and had to go on trial - it’s a fantastic goal, 15th of the season” - what a player McGoldrick is
#twitterblades
For me refereeing decisions used to be 90% correct, with 1% absolutely wrong and the rest debatable. VAR is creating decisions that shouldn’t need to be made
