Over 2000 people unfollowed me when I condemned the terrorist attack at #RedFort Delhi. I received various threats from a lot of people, but that didn't even shake my 1% of confidence. I will always speak about the truth and humanity. 🙏❤

đź‘‹fine #SRE folks, have you ever saw the need to stop accepting new work on a large distributed setup? We built something using eBPF. Just checking whats the general feeling about this? Goal: Keep the healthy hosts up until the backup arrives! #Resilience #SoftwareEngineering

I was looking into ArrayList.removeIf in one of our hot paths and thought I may be able to do it better. Few iterations and measurements later, the OOB implementation is pretty good. Not saying speeding it up is impossible, but not worth the code complexity ATM #Java

Anyone tried isolating CPUs in the standard #GKE setup on @googlecloud? Looking to keep aside a CPU for custom scheduling in the pod(pod has only one container). The container would run #Java process, but thats secondary. Any pointers greatly appreciated. #GoogleCloud #kubernetes

So, if you are debugging something during app startup then you shouldn't be looking at those pretty dashboards plotting rate of change! #prometheus #observability

TIL: How prometheus calculates the rates for the counters. Until the counter has enough samples corresponding to "interval" in the query, take it with large grain of salt.

We are behind an issue where slow start is desired in our k8s ingress controller. While the rest of plot is interesting, @duckdb makes analyzing the outputs of netstat and likes so much easier and fun!

Strong biases in engineering can be problematic. Critical thinking is important and without that bias's will make us dumber.

@Chetanmurty @getglanceai @InMobi @AkshatGupta1097 @satyenabrol @santanu_sinha This session on "Rewring DS/ML teams" by #TaTaDigital's Jairaj Sathyanarayana left every technologist at #Encore2025 asking: Are we still stuck in the “previous art” of Swiss army knife teams, fallback engineering, siloed AI work…? Time to rethink how we build for the AI era.

@Chetanmurty @getglanceai @InMobi @AkshatGupta1097 @satyenabrol One of my favorite insights from #Encore2025 today from #ArvindSaraf: AI doesn’t just need more data, it needs better data. By generating and pruning synthetic data, we can cut training needs by up to 8x while improving model quality. Smarter data > bigger data. @InMobi
