#OUTA laid charges against #MalusiGigaba in 2017 around his role as Min of Home Affairs during #statecapture. While it is good to see the wheel of justice turning... it really does turn very slowly in South Africa https://t.co/Q93MjcKP0Q

The way that guy was defending himself on eENCA I nearly believed him, nearly. I'm only upset at the slow nature of these prosecutions.Chauke and Batohi need to stay far away from NPA.
EMPD Brigadier Julius Mkhwanazi signed an illegal deal with Cat Matlala’s security company and its subsidiary - which gave them blue lights, the right to track suspects, take blood, assist in accidents and train cops. He was promoted, not disciplined. https://t.co/xMqsVG48OY

Maybe convictions happen because folks are found guilty...I doubt it has anything to with representation or lack thereof unless prosecutors colluding with judges can be proven to be widespread. We still dominate the police in numbers and yet we are in a crisis.
How are there so many Indians in the police? Let’s be serious now & when did Julius Malema start complementing Indian women? There are less than 2million Indians in South Africa, who’ve end-end infiltrated state institutions to the point where an investigation ends a conviction…

In fairness even Julius might've got wind this was coming yesterday.
@samkelemaseko Adv Andrea Johnson is trying to show us that she works..

One or two things will be proven right: IDAC is a hired gun full of incompetent people or the folks/parties who go after them for arresting the "wrong targets" or protecting cartels will be walking back a lot of their rhetoric. If a complaint(procedure)was submitted this
🚨SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT ROUND TWO🚨 Adv. Johnson correctly pointed out that irregular appointments translate to corruption. Where is IDAC in investigating officials facilitating drug cartels…? Apparently that doesn’t fall within IDAC’s mandate according to Adv. Johnson.

By "engaging" I'm guessing they are seeking cooperation, maybe he can throw a few cadres under the bus.
IDAC says they are “engaging” with Dr Malusi Gigaba and he will not appear in court today. The Investigating Directorate against Corruption says they will not be commenting further on the matter. #sabcnews

I support any agency cleaning house,so far he's only cooperating. All these politicians who have been eating over the years need to account. IDAC needs to keep working,South Africans will catch up later.

😅 as for 'the fighting over who filled it'. Sums up politics. The DA does the same thing too...you and Afriforum by your own tar and make videos.
In Tshwane when a basic pothole is filled, on that day, ActionSA, the ANC and EFF will each visit that pothole and do a video saying they filled it. Then they come online and fight about who did it. Then the rains come and wash the pothole out. Then they blame the DA.

OK,valid question from Dereleen. And she points out relevance of competing CI factions. But the rebuttal by the ID is valid, they must recieve a section 27 referral to investigate a complaint,a procedural requirement rather then deliberately running cover for certain officials.
WATCH: ActionSA MP, Dereleen James, corners IDAC head, Adv Andrea Johnson, on why she jumped to prosecute General Dumisani Khumalo for an alleged irregular appointment and left an almost similar incident in the SAPS unattended. 📹 SABC News
