The SRL East site in Heatherton has reached a major milestone with early works now complete. Major construction is now underway, and we’re getting ready for the start of tunnelling this year. SRL will transform how we get around Melbourne and help shape our city as we grow.

🚇🏗️ Construction is ramping up on SRL East – delivering 6 new underground stations, including one at Monash. In 2035, this will be home to the new underground SRL station, providing a train connection to Monash University for the first time.

Behind the scenes at Clayton Crews are preparing to dig the new underground station, connecting it to the existing Clayton station With a simple change at Box Hill, Ringwood locals will be able to get to the SRL station at Clayton 31 minutes faster than the current PT journey
