Frax is one of the best comeback stories of crypto, period. They are upgrading from an L2 to a purpose built L1. As builders realize the limitations of L2s they’ll start making the switch as well. Avalanche L1s will capture a significant number of those.

No more capital gains taxes when you purchase a cup of coffee. IMO this is the biggest thing holding back crypto assets from being considered hard money. No one wants the hassle of calculating how much they owe on every credit card transaction. It isn’t practical. Fingers crossed

In the past week, seen talks on:.- Lowering staking rewards for PoS networks.- Why slashing is necessary vs not.- Deflationary measures via burn. These are imp, sure, but not the core issues rn for adoption. Focus should be on MORE builders and MORE apps driving real value.

The $AVAX community has gotten very good at being skeptical of new entrants. IMO it’s better than blindly trusting everyone. It does however mean that new entrants have a necessity to prove themselves before they are fully integrated.
