This website is fucking trash and a safe haven for any and all bigoted people. Fuck @elonmusk and his pathetic attempt at managing this place. It's just a playground for all his nasty, racist, homophobic, transphobic fanclub members to stew in their own hatred.

I reported a whole list of extremely racist tweets yesterday, so far 1 of them has had their account "paused" until they delete the offending tweet. The other - literally hundreds - of tweets by this account are fine though apparently, no point just deleting the whole account.

TLDR: Unity will charge developers each time their game is installed by someone. Even if it's a re-install that didn't require a second purchase. Even if it's been pirated. This is the biggest fuck you to indie devs. I honestly don't think they can go through with it.

I've been weighing up for a while whether to learn Unity or Unreal Engine and this update has just closed it for me. This is the absolute quickest way to turn off newcomers and learners. Also seasoned veterans, indie developers, AAA studios...

If you want to grasp the true state of Twitter now, just take a look at the replies of literally any tweet from someone like @nasa. Literally nothing but bots, AI written replies, AI generated image replies...it's so fucking weird.
