Islam does not ask us to live on dry bread or ignore the dunya. What it asks is that we donโt let the dunya control our hearts. May Allah help us use the blessings he gave us with gratitude, without becoming greedy or wasteful, and always keep our eyes on the Akhirah. Ameen.

Yes our deen warns us against the excessive indulgence in materialistic pleasures and attachment to worldly possessions but it does not want us to abandon lawful comforts and live in unnecessary hardship.

Whatโs up with people turning religious and suddenly ignoring the duniya and start romanticizing poverty? Our deen does not call upon the believers to glorify poverty or deliberately seek a life of deprivation. Infact Rasool Allah ๏ทบ in a hadith taught us a dua to prevent poverty

Same goes for reciting Surah Dukhan on Thursday evening. Its weak.
Heard sm ab Surah Waqiah and how it helps with not going to poverty and decided to look it up and 2 min of research shows the hadith are weak and not to be taken seriously. Pls pls do ur research before posting anything on the internet man.
