They could have easily like easily retained Axar for the WC despite his injury because he was literally playing domestic cricket from around India's 2nd-3rd game They also had a chance to get him in when Hardik got injured Head missed half the tournament & Aus still kept him
He picked the best 15 for wc 23 as well, but two best all rounders of our country Hardik and Axar got injured between and before the tournament respectively. Imagine Hardik and Axar in the final in place of SKY and Siraj.
