we’re all struggling to survive in today’s economy, but friendship and beautifying your space is free or very cheap- but it will take time! your home or room will not come together overnight and you will not form deep or meaningful connections in a short time.

if my friends and i didn’t include each other in mundane tasks and made an effort to make time for each other even while being employed full time- we’d never see each other. and if i got in my head about who’s reaching out first, i don’t think i’d have anyone.

but i also think that we don’t reach out to others enough. if you want friends but you have the mindset that if others aren’t reaching out to you first they don’t care about you- try reaching out to them first. ask them to go get groceries with you or do your laundry together
