A Valkyrie-esque concept piece, oil on aluminum, 11"×14". If I decide to scale this up, I'll design golden mail and drapery--at this stage, working from imagination, I do an undraped figure to develop gesture.

Good Morning! Here's the Morning light through the lintel glass in the Northwest entry of our house. Yesterday I posted some finished studies preparatory to a Stained Glass design...

Worked on this for a few hours today (Faith, Wisdom, and Creativity, oil/canvas, 36"×24"). I'm happy with the color and design now. Next I'll take heads/hands/feet further, then tie it all together, yet keeping brushwork lively.

1st pass on a painting titled "The Source ", oil/linen panel, 20"x 16". This panel is a clear sealed raw linen, and I started the work with a quick sanguine sketch over which I painted directly. It will take 2-3 more passes to finish.

Good Afternoon! This piece (Sowing the Stars, oil/canvas, 20"x 20") is more or less finished, so I'll set it aside and look at it in a week or so with a fresh eye and decide if it needs any tweaks.
