Morning all. Moving my daughter into new her new student home has been taking up a lot of my time. I definitely underestimated how much. Website is still running though and any sales are always much appreciated. Calendars are slowly selling now, but still got lots more to sell. X

Daughter is moving into her student house this wk. 3rd move in 3yrs. It gets harder & more effort each time. Won’t be long till she needs to find a house for next yr too. Never as easy when you’re not living in the same city as you’re looking to rent in. At least last yr she was.

Haven’t sold any prints in town for the last 3mths now & I’ve only made back 1/3rd of my rent for shelf space in town too as sales are just not happening. In hindsight, I wish I’d not tried it. I’m so grateful for my online sales tho which have prob nearly all come from here. ❤️x.

Managed some commission work again today. Building up layers especially on black dogs/animals takes quite a long time. 👍.

Good news…. I’m now in actual profit for the first time this year! It’s been a long time coming, tho I’m not sure if I want to put myself through this stress again if business continues like it. Took a night away near Dartmouth this week, which has been my holiday this year. ❤️

After 3-4mths of stress, 100+ phone calls/emails altogether, finally my daughter’s student rental is nearly sorted. I’m exhausted as the adrenalin & huge list of things to sort out has diminished. Now I need to sort myself as my back is awful & I can’t walk well cos of my foot.🤬.

Just did a bit of washing up and found my hand stinging badly. Then I remembered I managed to iron my hand earlier as well as some clothes. That’ll be why it smarts. I’m just so clumsy. 🤦🏼‍♀️.

My back has been pretty awful for a while now. I swear I get more clumsy when it’s worse - I seem to drop anything and everything and then have to bend down and try and pick things up. It’s so annoying! 🤬.

I’ve had 20+pieces of art in a local gallery for over a year now. Was amazed by sales over the past 9mths as it was steady - yet nothing for the past 2-3mths. The shelf space I rented in the last 2-3mths has also been a bust. Money down the drain. Running a business is impossible.

Morning all. Sorry I’ve not been as present on here recently. I’ve not had a good year heath-wise & a lot of my time has been taken up with family issues. I’m mentally and physically drained, but hope I’ll get back to drawing more again sometime soon. So much to do & to finish.x

Had another order today for one of my calendars. Every order really does mean so much. I know I say it a lot, but it’s true. Six months of work finally has come to fruition and has been professionally printed to a high standard. #art #drawing #farmanimals

I’m literally so tired and drained. Haven’t slept well in many weeks now due to back pain waking me in the night several times which isn’t helping matters. Just want this house rental sorted out now. Kids are more stressful in their 20s than teens! 😩.

Got keys to my daughter’s new student house yesterday. Not good when the house isn’t habitable due to building works and it all being upside down. Not amused. We had 3 mths of stress and hassle trying to get a house sorted and now it just continues. I’m so tired. 🤦🏼‍♀️😩.
