Been to Vitesse game this evening, what a fantastic club on the verge of extinction in August, but back playing in Sept and their respect to the Airborne landings and all those who took part in Operation Market Garden 🙏

What a fantastic tribute to Operation Market Garden by Vitesse Arnhem, once again remembering those who gave so much in the battle to liberate western Europe, even more so by a club only reinstated into the Dutch 2nd Division in September. Lest We Forget ❤️

Go to Leicester, know plenty, Bolton cup, same, Wrexham 1250 tickets, loads of fans never seen at games, how have these got tickets, I’ll never know?

Tomorrow of all days I’ll be off to watch England in Barcelona, but I’ll be remembering my late dad who landed on Sword Beach on D-Day at H-Hour with the 2nd Battalion E Yorks Regiment who sadly passed away aged 98 in 2021.Many of his mates rest in the cemeteries in Normandy Rip.

Thoroughly understand Fridays game being at Wembley with a large Albanian base of support being in and around London, but surely tonight’s game should be played up North.

Other than Plymouth, Millwall were worse team to play us at S6 this season, but fair play to them, they hung in , rode their luck for long periods, and took their chances when they fell to them, and that is the championship in a nutshell!

Goes without saying I hope we get something from the game tomorrow but more importantly for both sides of the city is the ultimate sacrifice that so many have given in service of our nation .
