As we wrap up Cervical Cancer Awareness Month we wanted to share some facts about cervical cancer screening in Europe with you. As one of the most common AYA cancers, screening is an integral part of early detection.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, a common AYA cancer. HPV vaccinations and screening are crucial to prevention and early detection ( = better outcomes) but disparities exist across Europe. STRONG AYA is committed to using data insights to address these disparities

This festive season is the season of giving, so we'd like to highlight the gift of data by spotlighting the idea of data altruism, or the action by which people make their data available voluntarily and without reward for the benefit of all. Check it out our carousel for more

@CancerEurope @KatieRizvi Finally, @LeedsHospitals @UniversityLeeds colleague Dan Stark gave an important orgal presentation on social integration, a great reminder that AYA care has to be holistic. We hope you all have enjoyed the congress!.

@CancerEurope cofounder and colleague @KatieRizvi gave a workshop on patient involvement and will be presenting on the integral role that lived experience and patient advocacy is playing in setting the EU research funding agenda tomorrow 🇪🇺.

PhD student @Janssen_Silvie presented orally on quality of life in the national 🇳🇱 cancer survivor SURVAYA study (the data of which will feed into STRONG AYA) and presented a poster on the lit review that was part of our core outcome set development 👏.

STRONG AYA is down under at the 6th Annual Global AYA Cancer Congress🦘🇦🇺. PI @OlgaHusson presented on AYAs with an uncertain/poor prognosis and provided an update on the @EORTC_QLG AYA specific module development.
