Not long until Christmas now. It’s been a busy few weeks at Striders of Croydon, with a fantastic turnout for the South of Thames Cross Country at Lloyd Park. Our Wednesday, Friday and Sunday running groups have also been going strong.

Striders of Croydon hosted their London Marathon ballot night, made even more exciting with the Striders’ London Marathon Wheel of Fortune! A big congratulations to our three lucky members who won places in the 2026 London Marathon.

The green and yellow ribbons are out today for the Surrey Leagues XC at Hurst Green! Good luck to our ladies racing at 11:30 and our men at 14:30. Go Striders! 🟡🟢🏃♀️🏃♂️

It may be a grey Friday, but Striders of Croydon are still heading out for our evening social run. Enjoy a relaxed, chatty pace and catch up with fellow runners. We finish with drinks at the Sandilands clubhouse, where Myndspirts also hosts fun events. Interested?

Wednesday evenings are for running! 👟 Our main Club Run is on tonight, all abilities welcome. "No one left behind" is our policy; we frequently turn back to regroup. Worried about pace? Fear not!

Striders of Croydon were out at the Beckenham Charity Trail 10k this morning—what a glorious day for it! After Beckenham RC supported our Switchback 5 in October, it only felt right for some of our runners to return the favour and support their event for two great causes.

Striders of Croydon took part in the London Cross Country Champs at Parliament Hill on Saturday. Great conditions and less mud made for some fast times. The 10k course is hilly but open to all abilities—cross country isn’t just for elites, anyone from any club can join.
