The new @marksandspencer food store in Stockbridge: NO staffed checkouts at all - so missing a trick by going down same route as nearby @waitrose, where proliferation of self-checkouts has cheesed off a lot of customers (and "partners", too). But at least no piped muzak...
@streetscape33 Hi, the store will have self-checkouts only but there will be a cash option with one of the self-checkouts. There should always be a member of staff on hand to help. There will also be no music. Please let us know if you have any other questions. - Emily
