On December 6, 2018, over 130 STP Employees ventured out into the surrounding area for Community Pride Day. The employee volunteers teamed up and completed projects for 18 groups and organizations throughout Bay City, Palacios, El Campo, Wharton.

Two grass fires began burning on Wednesday afternoon, May 16, in the area surrounding STP Nuclear Generating Station near FM 521. The Bay City Volunteer Fire Department was called to the site to fight the fire.
