The scale, the effects, the tone, the set pieces of Alien Earth are all next level. The titular beast, not so much. Strangely gaffer tape looking lips, plasticky and nowhere near slimy enough. Still enjoying it a lot so far. Would love a great reason this has to be a prequel tho
