I wonder what would happen if every cybersecurity expert going on TV this week said something like "Every CEO/board should ask what % of their staff are enrolled in MFA, and they should not be satisfied with any number other than 100%".

Either that or people are just more aware of #SIMswap #fraud or both. We think it's both. #cybersecurity

Be particularly wary of scam phone calls, texts and emails today and this weekend. Experience shows scammers jump on any crisis or worrying consumer news + catch you when you are feeling the most worried. Hang up, do your own research, don't deal with firms you've never heard of.

Phone companies have upped their game ever since this sim swap phase that was going around. Yup... Even just to hack into a @Roblox acc 😅 all that effort... But be wise and don't put your mobile number on social media. Use a secure email for verifications on log ins.

A Princeton study showed that four-fifths of SIM swap attempts are successful. That's over half! The study showed that major carriers use authentication methods that can easily be bypassed by hackers. #SIMSwap #fraud #cybersecurity #cybercrime #dataprotection

Top priority & yet this is the 7th data breach in the past 4 years. Makes me wonder how #tmobile manages those that are not at the top of their priorities. 🤦 #cybersecurity #SIMswap #fraud https://t.co/q4aZPnCr7K @BleepinComputer

T-Mobile confirmed that recent reports of a new data breach are linked to notifications sent to a "very small number of customers" that they fell victim to SIM swap attacks.
