Goodbye and good luck to the greatest goalscorer of them all
@Tomozz7
Jack Tomlinson, as he joins Leek Town for next season. 114 goals in 184 appearances for Stone.
In sadder news, Dave Ablewhite has been forced to retire through injury.
Dave played in every position bar goalkeeper for Stone over the last 4 seasons. He was quality in all of them.
Very sad for Dave and the club as he has been a great player and popular teammate. 103 A 34 G.
We can go to the beach
We can go to the pub
We can go the cinema
We can go out for grub
But we can’t let the fans in
To stand and watch in fresh air
Because the powers that be
Say it’s too dangerous there
Come September 1st
The season’s due to begin
Enough is enough

A capacity crowd expected for this eagerly awaited local derby
A disgraceful way for the FA to treat very many well-established leagues and all those involved playing for, or running clubs. No respect at all for the views of those who represent far more teams and players than the elite professional clubs and leagues.
As I expected, the FA Council has backed the decision to null and void the season for Steps 3-7. I never thought they would overturn the decision but we made our voices heard. We never had any contact from The FA throughout this and find out the decision through social media.

Midfielder Will Bailey picked up players' player and marksman Jack Tomlinson manager's/committee player this Friday, meaning Jack has appeared on these trophies 3 times. (Trophies made by ex player Grant Bigham in 14/15 still going strong). It wasn't fancy dress by the way.
