The resistance to planning for robust hybrid options in any area of higherEd is embarrassing & out of touch these days; it’s esp. shameful for an organization that claims to be leaders in design + equity. Plus, tone and messaging abt it for #ISLS2023 has been truly condescending.
I’m chairing a session at #ISLS2023, a short paper session in the CSCL track. As of this morning, 3 of the 4 presenters, including one of my students, will be unable to be there in person due to delays in visa processing (the conference is in Montreal).🧵 https://t.co/sI1rM43Dmv
