Today is the 2nd time in 6 months that I’ve been out with friends who aren’t teachers. Class day, class weather, class after yesterday at Gulliver’s with Ted ☀️. Mad how your life changes. Got about 10% of the friends I had for some reason, but I guess they’re the decent ones 😁

This weekend and next (British Grand Prix + Boultham Park Fair) are the first two things to come up that I had made plans to do with my grandad and have done with him every year for 20+ years. A couple of hard days on the way! ☹️

Never been nervous about public speaking before but wanted to do this justice, a speech to say goodbye today to one of the greatest men who ever lived, my grandad. 🍻

How on earth do people let go of resentment? Between everything I’ve been through over the last 12 months in my personal life and work, all I do at the moment is overthink and hate 😖

I have been made, baked and brought sweet treats by three different people at work so far this week - helping to offset the 60,000 steps I’ve done so far. It feels good to be appreciated!. Sports Week as PE lead 😰🏃🏽‍♂️

Why I went into teaching! Invited to the U16s cup final by a parent of a boy I taught in my NQT year (7 years ago!) bc a few of the lads in that class were playing too. Great to catch up with them after 🤝⚽️. Excited to hammer them in 3 years when they’re in the men’s league 😂
