Time has access to great power & it can share that power with humans, usually through what is known as sensory magic (magic of sight, touch, etc.). But there are many restrictions on the use of magic in the world to limit humanity’s carelessness and thirst for power. 3/4.

There are occasions when a character might move through time, but those moments are rare. Characters can use Time Magic to manipulate their world, but in this story, Time Magic is an entity. An entity that would rather not be disturbed, especially by humans. 2/4.

The concept of Time Magic is not new to fantasy novels. Sometimes, the emphasis is on characters moving back and forth through time or manipulating objects or their environment. For When Time Speaks, I’ve tried to look at Time Magic a little differently. 1/4

Time Magic gained the upper hand, but the consequences of that epic battle are still felt by the surviving humans. Earth was twisted & torn, kept habitable by the magics, but different in many ways. How different? Guess you’ll have to read the book & find out for yourself. 😀4/4.
