Ease of accessing your money, that Starmer mentions, is a threat not some act of kindness. People can access their money plenty easy now. How will this card make it easier? And I thought it was to do with illegal immigration rather than accessing your savings?
Digital ID will makes things so much “easier”. So why not just “get on with it”? I guess 2.8 million UK citizens think otherwise, Mr Starmer. Not counting those who haven’t yet signed the petition.

I had to laugh when Starmer said that the BritCard would be “free” as if he expected a gullible population to go, “Ooh, it’s free, I’d better have some of that.” This “free” BritCard will be the most costly thing we have, because the price to pay is what’s left of our freedom.
