It's impossible to sum up 11+ years (especially for someone overly wordy like me). But in thinking about everything that filled up that time, I can't help but feel ridiculously fortunate to have even had the chance. Whatever comes next, here's to going through that door.

Didn't know at the beginning of the week that this would end up being the last thing I wrote for the site. I'm so glad that it works as an unofficial IW goodbye.

The best TV episodes of 2023, including some from "Yellowjackets," "The Last of Us," "Jury Duty," "The Bear," "Barry," and "Succession."

This was news that came as a surprise, so I'm not exactly sure what's next for me. Getting to write about TV and podcasts and music and film for a living has been an absolute honor and privilege. I'd love to keep doing it, but I'm excited to see what else might be on the horizon.

Today was my last day at IndieWire. This site has been my home for over a third of my life. It's also a place where I’ve met some transcendently wonderful people. I'm leaving with an immense amount of gratitude for all that they've given me.

TÁR name-dropping Jennifer Higdon is a reminder that we should all give ourselves the gift of Pale Yellow as often as we can

...so I talked to the guy who directed it. The only interview I've ever done that includes "fecund," "accretion," and "Señor Wences": Here's David Prior on an exquisite hour of TV: https://t.co/3ZNm4SXWkN

It was already one of the best shows I've seen. And then that giant "Wait are they really going to do the Freaky Friday song" wave of collective realization: something I will remember on my deathbed.

Still floating from the MUNA show last night. The last 30 seconds of "Runner's High." Everyone shouting along to the line from the end of "Home By Now." And then this....absolute masterpiece?

Always fun to watch an episode of TV and know instantly that you’re going to bring it up in pretty much every conversation you have for the next few months

Acapulco is back! This show can (and should!) be one of the biggest comedies on TV. If Apple is looking for its next Ted Lasso, it doesn't have far to look. https://t.co/Q5oTSCpIzu
