@steve_shives Moot point regardless, given that, however well intended, it does cross the line if hatred. A person can be an oblivious ball of good intentions and still fan the flames of hate.

@steve_shives Thank you. I have told people like this a million times that we are under no obligation to tolerate their ignorance and bigotry. Also told them a million times that it's not a lifestyle. They aren't what they are by choice.

@steve_shives People in the LGBTQ community exist in our society. Star Trek is about us. It's logical to think that LGBTQ folks will exist within a fictional realm that is about us as a species. Don't like it, don't watch it.

@steve_shives What is the LGBT "lifestyle"? They want to get married, have families, be treated the same as anyone else, have basic rights. That's just LIFE. Disagreeing with that comes down to who is doing it, and that's where the hate comes in. Line was already crossed, bud.

@steve_shives I often wonder, rhetorically, what they mean by "disagreeing" with the LGBTQ 'lifestyle.' But I remember, folks like my younger brother "disagrees" with my gender.
