This morningβs listening: four quarters of the same musical tapestry. As each year passes I seem to treasure these albums a little more. Recorded within a mere 5 year period between β71-β76 (during which time the band managed to squeeze in a further little known double album).

The ages of the band during the recording (Aug/Sept 1971) were β¦ - Banks, Gabriel, Hackett - 21 - Collins, Rutherford - 20 Think about that for a second. A quite extraordinary achievement.
Now playing β¦ 54 years old today and for me, the best of the Gabriel era (controversial, I know)
