Social media has created a false narrative that says “my noise is better than your noise.” Which has lead to everyone just trying to be louder than each other. And in turn, means no one is actually willing to do the listening.

Therapist: “Repeat after me... ‘I don’t expect anyone to be perfect.’” Me: “I don’t expect anyone to be perfect.” Therapist: “And no one expects me to be perfect.” Me: “Everyone expects me to be perfect.” Therapist: 🥲

As a grown man who grew up as a child of faith, one of the most shocking things to me is that while the Republican Party may be the the party of Christianity, it’s not the party of empathy. And I believe that says more than enough about modern Christianity.

Christians are fast to quote a spiritual line in one of Trump’s speeches that was 100% written by someone else, yet are silent when he himself writes a grossly repugnant tweet.

I swear that some of these Christians voicing their “grief” and “despair” over the new NY abortion laws, are the same ones showing judgment and ridicule to single mothers.

Can you imagine how awkward it would be if your pet went on your phone and found the 1000s of pictures you have of them sleeping

Your reality isn’t everyone’s reality. Your day to day, your “normal”, your life.. It isn’t a standard. The sooner you realize this, the sooner your heart & mind are able to grasp the concept of caring for the stories of your neighbors & the world.

I live in a border state. I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart. https://t.co/he1uw1E96A
